In the area between the two territories, known as the Outskirts, there lies a densely forested valley. Beneath the canpoies there lies a lake known as Syrin's Lake. Homing many small creatures such as wolves, deer and the like, all the way down to small lizards and such. Through the dense canopies, sunlight manages to break through and reflect off the water.
